" A sweet delight.." He mumbled, his face turned toward me. 

His gaze made me shiver, from what, I don't know. Disgust? Desire? Lust?

"Delight? What do you mean, Barnabas?" I ask. He moved closer to me, making my body react to him. Goosebumps appeared on my arms, making me shiver from his closeness. 

"My dear. You are my sweet delight."

Ivy Michel, a newcomer to Collinsport. She didn't know of the curse and didn't know what awaits her once she arrives.
