We humans referred to them as their gods, who taught them the knowledge of their world, on which our world was modeled after. But alas, they were flawed beings, just like us humans. They had complicated romantic relationships with each other and with humans, and also led human populations to fight war with each other using weapons of mass destruction over their petty disagreements. Human beings are still part of that legacy. A group of enlightened people who have reincarnated many times from those days to learn that this is not the way forward. Pooling their resources together, they have decided to try and put an end to this vicious cycle once and for all. But how much do they know? How much control do they have over their destiny? Will they succeed? Or will they fall prey to the machinations of their enemy, whose identity they don't even know.

As a small group is losing contact with entire humankind, their task is also to understand why they are there indeed. The otherwise their existence can't have a meaning. Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. I know a lot of people skip Prologues, however, it has important information that will give you a better understanding of what's going on in other chapters. Feel free to comment and vote. The fate of the world rests on our shoulders again. I thought the days of us fighting were over until I woke up inside my burning school. We're being hunted by an alien species beyond classification, mixed with multiple different species. It's up to us to stop them and make them find a new planet to inhabit. But who are they running from?
