173 years in the future Cage Milo is a 19 year old girl trying to make a living in life. Her parents died when she was really young and her 28 year old brother Travis is living with his wife Lila and their little girl Sarah. Travis has left an open door invitation for her anytime she feels 'sick of the real world' and wants to visit.
Cage has decidedly stuck with a traveling circus. She has a full time job moving to different arenas performing as an escape artist. The ring leader of the circus, Joey (her boss) has taken an interest in the beautiful 5'6" blonde teenager. Cage, who has suffered through two brutal beatings and an attempted sexual assault from Joey, is finally coming to her senses and packing her bags.
Will Travis still except her at home after all she has done? Will anyone in their small town of Moorisville, North Carolina except her? Who will she meet while she is their? and what about the mysterious man living across the street?
