"You good?" I asked Mason.

"Yeah. I kinda need to use the restroom though. You know how these risky jobs make me get the runs." Mason admitted, rubbing her stomach.

"Yeah I know. I've had to sit in your farts the whole way here." I said with a straight face.

"Sorry." Mason said with a sheepish smile.

I shook my head with a smile but I kind of understand where she's coming from. I'm starting to feel uneasy but for a completely different reason. Why is the connect taking so long to get here?

"Mason. We should probably leave." I said lowly.

"Huh? Why?" She asked in confusion.

"We've been here for almost 20 minutes and this guy hasn't shown up. Something is off here." I said getting increasingly worried.

"Okay then, well let's skefuckingdaddle before-." Mason was cut off by the door being kicked down and loud shouting.

"GET DOWN! HANDS BEHIND YOUR HEAD NOW!"

"LEE RUN!" I was in the process of complying when I heard Mason shout that and I was just about able to catch her climbing out of a window.

This bitch. I am astounded.

(WARNING: This is my first story btw. Some parts may be cringe or toxic, but I don't feel like changing anything at the moment) I watched as he frustratingly ran his hand through his jet black hair as he let out an loud sigh. "Axarii I do not have the patience for your childishness. I can no longer trust you therefore we're getting an divorce." He stated. That just ended my mood. "What! That girl doesn't even look like me, are you fucking blind? My boobs are not even that big! Just imagine Winston and I together, that's impossible." I screeched out and grabbed onto him. I mentally cursed at myself as I felt tears threatening to escape from my hideous eyes. I'm an ugly crier. He roughly pulled his arm out of my grasp. "I want you and your things out of here by tonight and at the company to sign the papers in the morning." "You can't be serious! How can you not believe me, your own wife over some damn fake pictures?" I looked at him only to see him blankly staring at me, not responding. I roughly wiped my eyes before any tears could escape. He would not see me cry. "I'll go but you'll just have to throw away or burn the clothes that you bought for me because I don't need anything from you." I mumbled as I turned away and headed for the stairs. "I don't need a wife that claims she has love for me when all she wants is to be around other men instead of her own husband." I continued to walk up the stairs, not bothering to reply to what he said, not bothered to wipe the tears knowing that he cannot see them. **** #2 ex - March 2024 #12 dominate - September 2023 #6 funny - November 2024 #1 darkness - November 2023 #5 plottwist - November 2023 #2 exwife- November 2024
Love in the Time of Zombies: An Apocalyptic Romance by JasperBladesmith
16 parts Complete
This novel is a zom-com-rom, blending a zombie apocalypse with humor and romance. "Good morning, welcome to Grand Crest Hotel. May I have the name under which the room is booked?" "Han So Hee," she replied. The receptionist typed quickly on the keyboard. "Ah, yes, Ms. Han. You're in room 1102 on the 12th floor." She handed her the room key card. . . she found a convenience store connected to the mall, purchased some samgak-Gimbap, and ate quickly. she stepped outside, expecting the usual bustle of evening activity. As she scanned the empty area, her eyes caught a figure-a man standing far away, motionless. Something about the way he stood unsettled her. Then, out of nowhere, a group of people rushed toward him. Startled, Han took out her phone, recording the scene from a distance. "What's going on?" she wondered. Planning to at least send the video to the police. "I shouldn't get involved in a street fight when I just landed here, right? ..." "Ugh ... I don't Know ..." She stepped closer, but what she saw next made her freeze in fear. The group wasn't just attacking the man. They were biting him, tearing at his flesh, their movements jerky and unnatural. Her stomach churned as her mind screamed the truth: "they weren't people. They were something far worse." . . "How did I end up here?" she wondered. "This feels like something straight out of a drama..." . . "How do people in dramas do this? she thought, feeling the sharp ache of hunger gnawing at her insides. They train for days without eating, and somehow they're fine. But here I am, struggling to even think straight." . . . She have to survive this with... ..Training.. ..Finding other survivors.. ..Finding a Safe Place.. ..or.. .. ..Finding Love..?

25 parts Complete

note: this was written by my thirteen year old self highest -- #177 in Science Fiction // From Awkward Stars: "Idiots, how did we loose a sixteen year old in a glass room?!" a voice silences them all. I slip out of my corner and into the now empty hallway, shutting the doors behind me. I race as fast as I can away from that interrogation room and tears stream down my face. I've tried so hard to be good. I've tried so hard to fit in. What have I done to deserve this? Lost in thought, I can't look where I'm going. My face connects with a human-feeling thing. "Emma?" Tyler asks and states. I look up into his cold eyes. "You?" I push past him, slamming my shoulder on his. Pain spikes through me, but all I can think about is getting out of here. There are black dots in my vision. I hear yells and calls after me, but they are faded. I burst through the first door I find. A mob of people await me, but they aren't about to arrest me. I collapse into the nearest persons chest. "Get her back to headquarters." xxx UPDATED EVERY SINGLE MONDAY FOR #AWKWARDMONDAYS
