A successor to the throne, PKI, ponders in his room on a cold night, on his birthday which is also the day of his inauguration as his father's successor. However, in the midst of his happiness, he feels sad because he lost his beloved brother who had sacrificed his life for the return of his family. PKI feels guilty and questions his brother's decision, who gave his life to fulfill his desire which is considered greedy. Although he wants the result, PKI does not want it to be paid for with his brother's life. This story then takes the reader to the events before PKI's birthday, to understand why his brother was willing to make such a big sacrifice.
