❝ Before she was lucky number seven, she was Gwen Berkshire from San Fransisco, California. At the ripe age of seven, Dr. Brenner and his mad scientists abducted Gwen to study her abilities. For ten years Gwen was poked and prodded like an animal until she wandered too far into the Upside Down. It was there where she encountered the Demogorgon, and with the help of Eleven, the girls unknowingly opened up their world to the other side. Although Eleven manages to escape, Seven is stuck in the Upside Down for over a year, sleeping off the unknown power given to her from the other side. It is when Eleven and her new friends cast the Demogorgon back into the Upside down that Seven awakes to finally emerge into the world again. It is then that she stumbles upon a certain Steve Harrington and his gang, along with the surprisingly not-so-sinister mind of Billy Hargrove.❞
