Adrianna, a recent high school graduate who has taken a job as a teachers aid. The job is in her hometown of Milwaukee, she's returned home to spend as much time with her grandmother who's health is decreasing before she moves across the country to California for school.
Adrianna will be working under her former teacher Caleb Barring, her favorite teacher and role model, she invited him to her high school graduation but he didn't show, which hurt her, more than she expected it to.
Something made it hard to let it go. So when she had to return home before she went off to college, the open position at her old school was an opportunity to see him and try and figure out the feelings she's been dealing with for months. But Caleb doesn't seem to be the only person to catch Adrianna's attention. Will Adrianna figure out her feelings? Will she be able to deal with them before she leaves for good? Will she tell him how she feels?
