Alex looked at the brunette before him, her large green eyes welled with tears. How had it come to this, this mess had progressed so much. Marissa had been innocent of this, he'd managed to drag her in. It was time to end the game.
"You're done. You fulfilled the promise. You can go home." Alex said, the thought weighed down his frazzled mind.
"But-"
"Go!" He shouted. It echoed through the empty house.
Alex needed a fake lover, everyone around him pestered him about romance. Marissa was down on her luck, kicked out by her boyfriend. They make a good looking pair, how far will this go?
