After their business in Brighton has failed, Lysandra and her sister Demetria return to their childhood home in Northern Scotland - the place where they once found their parents literally torn to pieces. Now, sixteen years later, the twins return, desperate to sell the building that holds such horrors. But the house needs work. As the sisters try to quickly renovate the place, strange and stranger things keep happening, things that might have something to do with their parents' brutal murder. The mysteries seem to pile up without end. Where did their grandmother appear off to? Who are their mysterious neighbours? And why does everything in the house seem to move without anyone touching it? Something crawls through the basement; something moves through the house; and something lives in the woods, something that will come out to get you; something that may not be completely human...
