We sat on the ledge as we watched as day burned into nightfall.
Lucas arm brushed against mine but I didn't make an attempt to jerk it away like I did before.
"You know Desey love might be complicated but it not a empty promise" he whispered into the night as his hand slid against mine.
"If only I could believe that" my words made him squeeze my hand.
"Its okay" he mumbled. He pulled me towards him and brought his mouth to my ear "cause ill make you believe it"
