Gwen is a depressed goth, with a kinda terrible life...from fake friends to a cheating and abusive boyfriend. Her family isn't the greatest to her as all they care about is the money and their image towards the other people. As Gwen becomes a sophomore, her life just gets worse as her best friend, since they were basically born, Duncan is basically taken from her, as he's sent to juvie. As he is gone nothing good goes for Gwen. Her boyfriend constantly blames her for everything and when she speaks up for herself he doesn't take it the right way...arguments end badly. Her mother who goes off for a three months only to come back totally in love with someone else, starts to spilt the family up. Her friends using her for her money and just straight up talking behind her back start to get a little out of control. As Gwen has no one to talk to she goes to one thing she's been thinking of doing since day one, but then Duncan comes back..but...different.
