Peter parker has lost everything.  His parents and now his aunt May have all died and he thinks it is all his fault.  Peter doesn't want to be a burden on his mentor's life,  so Tony and his husband Steve Rodgers are kept in the dark and oblivious to his situation. Unfortunately, along with eternal injuries, the event damaged the kid emotionally too, causing him to have to stay longer.
