Jacksu hunched slightly as he felt the sting of the words bounce off the walls, creating a tension in the room thick enough to strangle him. Mica continued breathing heavily as she slowly calmed down from her sudden outburst of anger.
"It was never about the power..." She mumbled
She looked down at her hand, still emitting a faint wispy violet glow.
"What I possess isn't a power," she started, clenching her hand into a fist.
"This is a burden."
