When Ellen starts seeing hallucinations of a obscure man stalking her, her mother had phone calls from a long-lost associate who warns them to hide. It gets worse when her best friend disappeared with his mother in thin air. New York, the city she lives in, gets attacked multiple times and she sees half-naked, burning hot giants in the crime scene yet the police refuse to believe her. To verify the existence of the giants and the truth behind her best friend's disappearance, she appeals from the mysterious boy--Nate--and his mentor. As she learns the truth, her mother gets kidnapped by a unknown organization. With her new-found friends, she needs to rescue her mother, but to do that they must know the mastermind of all the chaos. The truth,her heritage and the secrets she longed to know, that they will learn, is the shocking veracity of all.
