In the year 2049 almost everyone in the world is some form of cyborg with the exception of a small group of individuals known as the resistance. A.I. Has been made illegal the only androids are command droids which function under certain rules and are not considered alive. The world is in a state of world peace but also mass chaos, the only things that matter in this future world are sex and money. Their us an elite force formally known as the FBI now known as UFD. The higher levels of the cities are for the wealthy the lower levels are for the poor. Mass chaos and violence run rampant in the lower levels the UFD try to maintain the peace but with so much going things tend to slip through. The Cyber Sword has access to many technologies but their man power is low, they have droids for low level missions but special detectives know as Cyber swords. Most security is privatized. The company known as CT is the for front of cyber innovations with the exception of privately funded military contracts......

They wouldn't have to work jobs. They wouldn't have currency. They wouldn't have to deal with challenges. They could live their lives the way everyone wants to. But there was one catch. And that was that the government made it a law that nothing bad could ever happen. No crimes, no arguments, no fights. The citizens would all be kept calm and they would be kind to each other. Obviously, this failed. Crime broke out. Everyone was fighting each other and the society the government promised turned into a disaster. So, the government decided to do something about it. They decided that everyone who rebelled against them or did anything bad would be put into a perfect android body which was devoid of doing anything wrong. But, they would also be drained of their freedom and emotion. They would be slaves to the government. The majority submitted to the government's orders. But some didn't. This is the story of the ones who rebelled.

I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!
