rowan stonewood is selected to represent district 7 in the 2nd quarter quell, or the 50th hunger games. this means that there will be 48 tributes, and 2 winners, who will gain twice the amount of respect, fame, and glory.
the quiet, sweet girl that rowan is, nobody places their bets on her. she begins to turn heads, though, when she forms a group of the "losers," and they're actually 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥.
they're deemed, with the affection of the capitol, "the embers," and their well-known rivalry with the pack of careers earns them more attention from the people, who evidently love drama.
but fire is catching. and we all know how fast flames can spread.

What would happen if Katniss hadn't won the games? Well the rebellion never happened and the games continued on. This year, it's time for the 4th quarter quell and the capitol has a big surprise for the districts. There will be three games. The first game will consists of district 1-6. 3 males and 3 females will be reaped from each district to participate. 12 of the 36 will move in to a final game. Then the second game will consist of district 7-12. 3 males and 3 females will also be reaped. Again 12 of the 36 will move on to a final game.
