Liliana Tyler is they mayor's daughter. She's the president of the National Junior Honor Society and the student council, captain of the debate team, and was on the varsity football team. She volunteered at the animal shelter and tutored students at the nearby middle school. The entire community respected and admired her. Her longtime boyfriend, Miles Blackwood, was a freshman at Princeton University, the school both Miles and Liliana hoped to graduate from. She had the perfect life. On paper.
Sawyer Laughlin is the son of an alcoholic plumber who went on a bender three years ago and hadn't been seen since.
