Deactivation means you're defective in the world of SQUIPs. It's an offense. It means you're useless. A glitch. An embarrassment, if you will. Being deactivated is every SQUIPs worst fear.

Why?

Because then there's nothing stopping other SQUIPs from doing whatever they want with you. No one cares if a defective SQUIP is ripped apart. No one cares if a defective SQUIP is torn apart, ripped up code by code. No one cares if they're left to malfunction and die.

Maybe that explains why Jeremy found his SQUIP on his living room floor, looking more like a pile of scrap metal than a supercomputer.

Btw the art's not mine. Never was, never will be. Sure wish it was, though.

THIS BOOK IS NOT MY IDEA!!! IT'S MY FRIENDS!!! I'M JUST WRITING IT ON WATTPAD FOR HER! Young Sophomore, Laura Klein, has had a pretty good life..... until she was forced to move from her small neighborhood in Minnesota to New Jersey. Moving to a PUBLIC high school after a lifetime of homeschooling with no friends whatsoever..... Well, it sucks. All Laura has are her musicals. But one fateful day, she hears about the SQUIP, a pill-sized supercomputer which implants in your brain and instructs you... WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?!
