I switch on the light and look through the boxes I see a box filled with pictures and carry it down the steps I close the attic door and head to the lounge sitting on the floor I look through the pictures of my mom and dad holding Jasmine and myself and Jamie-Lynn and Josh. Why would they keep this away from me does everybody know besides me? tears start running down my face I sit sobbing on the floor looking at the pictures my whole life was a lie. The next thing I know the bag is pulled up some and a rag is put over my mouth and nose. I cringe inwardly at how cliché it is but hey chloroform does the trick and I'm out before we started moving.

Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus.
