While fighting The Devil, Mugman is at a point of near death. In order to prevent his brother from dying because of his greedy wants, Cuphead surrenders himself to The Devil on the deal that he would spare his brother. The Devil agrees to the offer and teleported Mugman back to his home after corrupting Cuphead.

 Now, the world the two brothers once known is darker than ever. Heck, they'll even admit they might be broken. will they ever find light in such dark times?
