Long ago a seer had a vision about a person who would wield light and shadow magic. The seer claimed that one would be born from the souls of dark and light. It told of the one who would be able to travel through the land of the living and the dead and teleport herself to places no other person could ever go. The prophecy said they will save the world before the dark one has a hold, releasing the veil between life and death. The dark one is destined to unleash all the evil upon the earth using the worst kind of magic and the seven sacred stones that had locked him away each hidden in a tower surrounded by White and Black sand. The seer claimed the one would be the first to have the ability to use Light and Dark magic at once creating new magic. Those born with the ability to use dark magic becomes addictive and dangerous the more it is used driving the user insane.

A retelling of the Hades and Persephone myth, a story of fate, the struggle for power, and love found in the most unexpected places. ***** Persephone has been raised in Olympus all her life - her mother absent, her father a cruel king, with her siblings teaching her all they know. She has seen all of what the gods and goddesses do and she is sick of it. When she learns her safety is threatened by staying in Olympus, she flees to the Underworld. There she stays until she learns that her leaving has caused the world to wilt. But leaving behind her newfound friends and Lady of the Underworld is something she will not do willingly, no matter the consequences.
