They were the best of friends when they were little. But at the age of ten, one moved away. Now, seven years later, Evie comes back for senior year and can't wait to see Shane again. He was all she could think about all those years. But over time, people change. And that's what Evie comes to know. The guy that once used to give her his ring pop, hold her hand, and build sand castles with her is now the opposite. He pushes everyone away, drinks, and says things he shouldn't. Evie knows that in those seven years that passed, something happened. But no one will tell her. Can she get Shane to open up to her even after all these years?
