It has been 8 years since the outbreak of the apocalypse. 8 years humanity has been suffering in indescribable pain. 8 years without a cure, and souls leaving dead bodies, while some, leaving fully functional human beings called hunters. Humans are an even larger threat than the infected will ever be. What the problem really has become is this: What problem needs to be attack first, the infected or the hunters?
Currently, we have solved the epidemic, we found a cure. After all these years, only just existing in this life, in a place that was once abundant with life now, filled with the presence of a living death, more petrifying than imaginable, we finally have a cure.
But she has yet to survive the perilous journey to the quarantine zone. But... who's more dangerous?

Greedy... and prideful... we'd do anything to achieve our goals... even if it meant ending the world... Scientists had experimented on humans for a long time, making different breakthroughs and some failures... but this one was their most astonishing and regretful discovery.. with a mistake in their calculations as well as their subject. A virus was created and this virus was passed on to Everyone in the hospital lab quickly causing the first zombie infected appearance. At first it was mild... but like a wild fire, it spread round the city and nearly around the world... humanity was pushed back, homes destroyed....bond broken.... and many more problems came. But after all, humans can adapt quickly. And quick did they adapt... creating weapons that work for both infected and mercenaries alike, humanity had found a way to survive again. I did the one thing I promised her I would never do, no matter what, and now she hates me. She absolutely despises me and she's doing everything in her power to make my life a living hell, even if she hurts herself in the process. Even if it gets her killed. She knew she wouldn't be able to live with herself if the monster chasing her hurt her family. The river comes into view when a bone curling growl sounds throughout the forest, shaking the trees. A few more seconds she thinks to herself, almost there. At the last step she jumps, flinging herself into the water. Frantically she scrapes at her skin to get their scents off, but knowing she can't be caught de-scenting she starting swimming down stream. Better to be caught running than them thinking you have something to hide.
