I realized the key-chain was still tightly clutched in my hand, something inside told me not to let it go. Callie for once, was at a loss for words as she sat stiffly surveying the forest. firefly like of glows drifted lazily around lighting the trees around us. Large, turquoise, glowing toadstools at least  up to my knees, lit the mossy forest floor. Finally I got up leaving the mossy floor while I reached a hand down for Lillian and Callie. Now all three of us stood up, looking around. And only a set of words filled my head.  This isn't a coincidence. I rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms. I extended them too high for they have hit the glittery dream catcher hanging on the headboard of my bed. The said item dropped on my face. "Argh, get off me." I removed the dream catcher from my face and sat up on my bed. I turned my gaze to the clock on the side table; it was 7:15. "Ugh," I moaned. "it's too early." I closed my eyes and tried to sleep again. A few minutes passed until somebody knocked on the door. "Marie," said the person who knocked on the door. "Let's go already!" Shoot, I forgot. No wonder I woke up so early. I quickly rose to my feet and rushed to the bathroom. "Marie! Are you even awake?" I didn't respond just yet because I was in the shower. A few moments later, the same person knocked on my door. "I've got the keys, Marie," she said. I could hear her shaking the keys outside my door. "You can't stay asleep forever!" Hurriedly, I placed on my blue blouse and pants. I grabbed the brush from the bathroom and started to comb my dark brown hair. Rushing to the door, I opened it to see my friend Ranie Accendo. I eyed her gray blazer over her white shirt, pants, and boots. "What took you so long?" she asked. "Nevermind that." I shook my hand dismissively. "Where are we going? If it's not important, I'm going back to bed." "To the forest." "The forest? Why?" "Well, according to this book, a magic power orb is stored in this very shed!" exclaimed Eleanor. "I really don't think so," I mumbled as she tried to open the door. It was locked up tight. I heard the bell ring. We were going to be late. "Let's come back later," I said. She gave me the glare. The glare that told you to be quiet or else. Then, Eleanor managed to make the door crew open. We peered in. It was as dark as night in there. "Is this supposed to be magical?" I asked. Eleanor stepped in. The floor board under her foot squeaked. I saw a ball roll, then it happened.

Dread seeped into my heart as I gasped out loud, a chill coming over me. I swallowed, breathing irregular, as I kept my eyes glued to the wooden floor. A shadow had crept up in front of me, belonging to the one thing that I had seen inside of the room just seconds before. The drummer boy lifted my chin up. When I met his eyes, I was paralyzed. The brown color was the same, but where that thin smile once was replaced by one that stretched wide, splitting his entire face in half. I stared at the sharp daggers of each tooth, legs quivering so violently I thought I would collapse onto the floor.
