In the hero world, you were either a pro or just an average sidekick. Surprising to most, Misaki Haruka at a very young age had already moved quickly up the ranks. This was mainly due to her powerful quirk that many feared during her younger years. Misaki was so used to being isolated that she felt comfort in being alone and keeping most people at bay.
