His Light ✓
*COMPLETED* Annalise(Ann) had a simple life. A loving family, and a roof over her head. But when that is taken away, when the king and his men destroy her village and take her life away. She is thrown into a life of servitude to the king. But What happens when the king develops a deep desire for her? Will she fall in love with the merciless King? 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒑𝒕: I hear the king get up from his seat and start walking over to me. I see his shoes come into my line of vision. My senses are clouded by his strong scent of cedarwood. I refuse to look up at him. He gives off an aura that is dark and intimidating. My eyes begin to swell with tears at the thought that I will end up like the man before me. "Look at me," he commands in a deep voice. I refuse. He commands again this time more cynical, "Look. at. me!" His voice booms off the walls, echoing in the room. I flinch at the tone but still refuse. Then suddenly, he roughly raised my chin. My eyes meet his cold blue ones. His eyes seem to soften for a moment then quickly return to their cold state. He muttered something under his breath that I didn't catch. He lets go of my chin and walks around, scanning me with his eyes. "What am I to do with you?" He mutters to himself. After a few moments, he is back in front of me. He smirks, "I will make you my personal chambermaid." CONTINUE THE STORY INSIDE... NONE SHALL INHERIT
Year of Our Lord 1013. Francia is lost. Capetians usurpers sit the throne, fattened on treachery, while the last daughter of the Carolingian dynasty rots in exile. Emma of Normandy now lives beneath false names in forgotten keeps, guarded by liars who whisper of destiny but treat her like coin to be spent. When her enemies draw near, Emma flees across the sea to Denmark. There, she finds no peace, only more plots. King Sweyn Forkbeard sees in her a weapon to wield, a prize to marry to his young and untested son Canute. But the journey to Jelling is long, and her escort is led by Askeladd, a mercenary with veiled motives. Among them is Thorfinn, a young warrior burdened by vengeance, tasked with guarding a princess who refuses to be protected. As old empires die and new kings rise, Emma walks a knife's edge between pawn and player. The blood she's spilled cannot be undone, and the future she once killed for slips further from her reach. In the land of the Normanni, nothing is sacred... and none shall inherit without blood. Note: This is a work of historical fiction. While vaguely inspired by the real Emma of Normandy, the events herein are wholly reimagined through the brutal, tragic lens of Vinland Saga. It contains graphic violence, mature themes, and a stylized prose reflective of its medieval setting.Tamamlanmış Hikaye

𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐞𝐬
"𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐭𝐨𝐲." ~ Marriage was never for love-it was for legacy. A strategy. A performance. And for the Lombardis and the Morettis, it was the most calculated, showstopping alliance of the century. Roman Moretti, Don of the La Cosa Nostra, and Angeline Lombardi, only daughter of the French-Italian Mafia Capo, had been betrothed since her birth --matched to unite two empires under one crown. Hidden from the world, Angeline was raised to be the perfect wife. Groomed. Silenced. Controlled. She learned early that one misstep would strip her of everything-including her name. Everyone's first mistake? They underestimated her. Though no one had ever seen her, the world assumed the Lombardi Princess was a polished doll. Quiet. Disposable. Roman saw the marriage as a formality-another calculated step toward total dominance. He had no plans to love her. No plans to live with her. Just a wife on paper, tucked away from him elsewhere, summoned when needed for appearances. But everything changed the moment he saw her walking down the aisle. She was perfection. Untouchable. She would be his ruin, his weakness, his obsession, his motivation. His everything. But what if that had been her plan all along? Not everything buried stays dead. Not every identity is what it seems. In a world where saints become monsters and monsters are worshipped like gods, Angeline must decide what's worth saving: her bloodline, her love, or herself. ~ -HEA -18+ -Romance/mystery/thriller -No Cheating/OWD -DARK ROMANCE "OMYGOSH.
