Tagabantay: Death Defied

Vicente was supposed to be dead... or at least, that's what the records in the Tagabantay stated. After returning from Transylvania on a mission, Vicente realizes that the organization he once loved so well had turned into nothing more than shambles of the colossus which it once was. Time had ravaged the Philippines in a span of eight years and, once he returned, things are not as they used to be. With his captaincy stripped off of him, his troops revoked and his dignity tarnished, the relentless ex-captain will stop at nothing until he solves the unwinding mystery of rabid supernatural gang wars, missing captains and even the turmoil within his core.

Little did Vicente know, the shadows of the past would catch up to him. The ex-captain was proud of his nearly flawless surety, however, he would soon realize that, of shadows and men, the shadows would often win, whether he likes it or not. Worse, Vicente would have no choice but to succumb to the flow of this river of darkness; the only way for him to keep himself from drowning is to keep breathing, keep swimming and keep fighting.
