The story starts off with Mirai Kageyama reminiscing about the day he met his first love, Kirie Kuroki. She falls on top of him and helps him get up. After that, they make a promise of meet again someday and become lovers. Three years have passed since then and Mirai is now a college student at Rentomi College. Kirie, on the other hand, is working at Rapunzel, an elder sister branch of Cinderella's.

Mirai meets Kirie again, only to feel as though he has met her before, not recognizing her completely when they bump into each other. Later that night, he sees her again at the party being held for Takuji Uramoto and Asuka Suzushiro's wedding in the casino, where Kirie is playing pool with some other employees.
