To My Dear Princess,
The carnival just isn't the same without your laughter and smile. It seems so dull without you being here to cheer me up. Setting up and running my parents' ride has been fun, but it's not as fun as last year. Which is why I have some exciting news.
I told you I couldn't go with you and your family to the beach because I have to help my parents....help my parents with their ride at the Annual Carnival near where you're staying! I am looking forward to seeing you and being near internet again. When you receive a text from me, you'll know I'm in town.

YOU are the main character in this love story. you're in your twenties, you didn't have the chance to pursue higher education and you come from a family with little money. You never lacked anything essential but you didn't have much--never any brand name clothes, not many gew toys--but you had the love of your parents (you're an only child) Currently, you work in a small grocery store in Seoul. You often/always work the night shift because it's what you prefer. You have a best friend who is like a sister to you. You're very close, you tell each other everything, there's no judgment between you two, no unspoken words. You are single and not looking fo love, as you just broke up months ago. You had been together for three years and he left you because he didn't want to "live a poor life" , as he put it. The truth is, he had met another woman, older and much wealthier than you. You still live with your parents to help them but also because your salary doesn't currently allow you to rent an apartment. You're saving money to ensure you can at least pay a few months of rent. Your parents are okay with this and are happy that you're still living with them. You'll meet T.O.P. and he'll become your world, your obsession, and you'll unknowingly become his safe place.
