It's split down the middle as well. Some texts talk of what remains of the government (known now as "The Organization") and how they declared martial law to keep the people of what was once the grand United States of America safe. And others praise the leader of The Rebel Alliance, Clara Andres, for doing what's right and trying to overthrow the tyrannical government that trapped us in the memory of the once-great nation. Whether you believe The Organization or The Rebellion is your choice, but if you find yourself on the wrong side of either of them you're good as dead.
