Attendee at Julix School of Science, Kindara Perkins has a secret, well technically two. She finds her soulmate but she feels he's needs to get away, to protect him, she runs away from home and to the forest. The darkest forest to be found, she stays in for years, keeping herself alive and thriving to the harsh and cold conditions. Eventually he finds her and takes her back to society. Her best friend devastated, finds her broken and soulless. Only one thing can bring her back. But only one knows what it is, and he's the one whom nobody trusts.
