The world has turned for the worst, murders have shot through the roof ever since that one terrible discovery was made. The broadcasters on the radio had breaking news, the scientists at Susurrus Labs have made a discovery that will change the lives of mankind forever.
This discovery allows one human to gain the intelligence of one other person that has passed for example. One of the most brilliant people in your family just died, this device will allow you to gain the intelligence and put it to good use instead of it just it being gone.
The people went out of control a year from that faithful day. College student's started murdering to pass their tests, no matter how simple they were. Then, every one else joined in, soon enough not even the police could help; mostly because they joined the crowd.
Dan Howell, a college student who's taking night classes in fear he might be murdered if he takes the day ones. Who will help him and the thousands more who still believe in good?

Meet Kyle and Kate, two 15 year old students who have a gift for thinking fast, quick, and smart. Oh, and meet the other 18 kids in their class. Some call them genius, some call them annoying. PART 1 The year starts off bad enough, that is, with earthquakes and snowstorms. And finally, when things starts to clear up, the first murder occurs. Right in front of their eyes. It seemed obvious who did it, but as the murderer wrote her confession, a completely different murder occurs across town. Shocked, the police rush over to gather the evidence and clues, but before they even assemble their evidence, the police are led to another death. One by one, deaths occur around town, faster than the police can count. There's not much in common with all of the murders, only the fact that all of the victims come from one class. In the course on one year, the class of 18 shrinks drastically. PART 2 As summer vacation begins, the remains of the class split. Five students tell their stories of meeting new people, near death experiences, and funny incidences. PART 3 More than what meets the eye happened in the course of the summer. The class comes back to a new year, utterly shocked to find that 4 new students have joined their class. Everything starts out alright, but people are getting frantic. The government sent in spies to watch the class for suspicious behavior, two of them students themselves. Two other students are hired to try to figure things out on their own. What nobody realizes however, is what's important. Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Danny had been stuck with the G.I.W for years when the Young Justice team rescued him. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats. Without warning it began! The inevitable, I think it's fair to assume this book is not in my possession. This means I'm most likely dead. Most nights I wrestle the reason I have chosen to explain what happened, the things we did to each other, things no human being should witness. I Wright this simply to enlighten your poor soul and give you more of a chance than I had. A chance to survive what is most likely the brink of human extinction. Times are harder now and as the days go by we are less of our former selves. We have become husks floating around in a lost, desolate world. I look at this place and it still seems so alien to me, as the days roll into the nights I'm still unsure of how we got to this point. If you are reading this, you too are probably North and very much aware of what has happened to our beloved city. I feel a responsibility to inform you that you will most likely share the same fate as I have. I understand you may be wondering what's worse than death, trust me in this place death seems like a paradise compared. I do not know why I still feel so obligated to write this.
