In an urban city not unlike New York's, a small town girl named Jennifer, has moved to the city to start a career and hopefully a new life. She is 2 years into schooling and she just got the chance to be the lead in Cabaret. Meanwhile, her homosexual roommate at Juilliard throws a party for her birthday where she meets Henry. A boy who came from the town next door to her's in Illinois. She starts to like him, but she gets a subtle vibe that he might just be to good to be true. Will Jennifer get a big break just around the corner, or a surprise she wasn't expecting.
