When your in the Constant, you can't be picky on who your surviving with. This is an unfortunate thing for our maniacal robot friend, WX-78, who has a pure hatred for basically everything. How is it unfortunate? Well, when they noticed a green gem falling from the moon to the earth, they made the poor decision of investigating.
And they got stuck with Wormwood.
(I take slight hubris in this for possibly being the only fanfiction dedicated 100% to the ship WXWood. It's shocking how you can find so much art for it but then no writings! 👀)

Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again".
