The Elementals knew something was wrong when more and more of them were born without powers. Generations pass as the Elementals numbers shrink soon enough only 10% of humanity were Elementals. Decades pass with the Elemental population now stable. And then the corruption hits, a virus that mutates cells and turns all fauna lifeforms into mutant monsters. Two decades after the corruption hit humanity is in ruins as only a few cities remain, 25% of humanity remain and only 3% of them are elementals.
