When Sophie was 3 Donna fell pregnant with another baby girl and this time she knew who the father was. She was already struggling to make ends meet and adding another child to the mix would be too much. Donna had to make the hardest decision she had ever faced. In the end she knew that giving up her baby girl was the best thing to do for her baby but it was going tear Donna's heart to shreds. Before she let her baby go she gave her a name.

Darcy Lemons was a girl that simply didn't have the life most kids her age had. She was sixteen, she lived in a crappy house, and she was raising her little sister as if she was her own child. The only bright side was that her mother paid rent and utilities with her disability checks every month.
