Ziggy Willow Swan is Charlie Swan's adopted daughter - Ziggy had terrible biological parents, they never truly took care of Ziggy, she was beaten till she was black and blue - until one day her parents push her out of their lives (and car) leaving Ziggy in the middle of forest that seemed to never end.

Charlie found Ziggy walking along the road, her clothes ripped, her hair tangled, bruises and cuts all over her arms and legs, and tears streaming down her face. Charlie being the nicest person she ever met, offered her shelter and warmth - Ziggy had an effect on Charlie and he knew he was the best person to protect her.

That is until Charlie's real daughter, Bella comes to Forks, Washington to live with her father - and shockingly surprised a brand new sister.
