Anneliese Eyrwood has lived in France for as long as she can remember - her parents fled to Limousin from London during the height of Voldemort's reign of terror. When she turned eleven, she made her first journey to l'Académie de Magie Beauxbâtons, where she would flourish in both her studies and her endeavours in Quidditch.
However, at the end of her fourth year, Anneliese hears word of what occurred during the Triwizard Tournament. Little did she know, this tragedy would affect her and her family greatly. Her parents are called back to their roles in the Order of the Phoenix, meaning that they and their children will have to return to England - much to the disappointment of their eldest daughter.
Upon arriving in the capital, Anneliese finds friendship in the form of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, who introduce her to the ways of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. That September, Anneliese and her younger brother board the Hogwarts Express to begin their time in the castle. More friends find their way into her world, and she finally begins to settle into her new life.
Although, as the year progresses, Anneliese finds herself tumbling into something much darker, much more unexpected than she could have ever imagined...
