i don't know who's driving, but i don't care. peter hesitates to wrap his arm around me so i lean into him. "i know you miss them, i'll be with you throughout it all." he says next to my ear softly.
then i felt a feeling i haven't felt before.
butterflies swarm my stomach, a tingly runs up my back, and my palms get sweaty. he puts his arm around me and holds me.
it's all i need to feel safe.

i wrote the first two or so chapters in 2019, but it's 2020 now. if there's facts that are messed up in the beginning please comment and tell me so i can fix it. i've also improved on my writing and i've switched to only lower case.
also this takes place after end game. here are some things to remember:
-tony isn't dead
-captain america didn't age
-peter, miles, and kenzie are all juniors which makes them all 16
-peter is more mature. etc. more mature, not as shy, more confident, HE HAS HORMONES!!! peter grew taller (5'11")

You've been working at Stark Industries for over 3 years now. Originally you were Pepper Pott's personal assistant, needing a full time job after graduating from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Being an assistant wasn't exactly putting your BioMedical Engineering degree to use but you knew this was a great way to get your foot in the door.
