The industry which has birthed legendary groups and artist alike, yet these idols are usually manufactured to meet the expectations of fans and companies alike. It's no lie that South Korea has a picture-perfect image already in place for idols and it's definitely evident that this image is forced upon nearly almost all the idols inside of the entertainment industry.
So, when an infamously-known company like Arcane Entertainment - who is known for debuting idols that do not follow the 'norm' of South Korean idols - plans to debut their new girl group "MOONGIRLS", the news is not received well. Now, the five young girls of MOONGIRLS have to work harder to not only have a successful debut but to also sway the Korean public and change the standards.
