"Forever?" I asked him, watching as his features all shined through with happiness. I tilted my head to the side as he let out a small laugh. "Forever," he agreed, evoking a smile from me. After everything that took place in Jade's and Dean's past, it was finally time for them to come together in holy matrimony. They have been through so much that nothing could break their connection, or tear them apart. Or so they thought. So of course, when their happy day arrives, no one expected what was to come next. But then again, everyone has a haunting past, and sometimes their fears from the past becomes their worst living nightmare. When Jade is confronted with someone from her past, she is torn between protecting her loved ones, and leaving the one she loves. Having no other choice, Jade must live through her worst nightmare in order to protect her loved ones, and hopefully make it out alive to be with the one she loves. ________________________________ SNEAK PEEK: "Wh-why are you doing this? What do you want ?" I questioned, staring deeply into his brown orbs, reminiscing how I used to get lost in them so easily. "Oh stop this act Jade, you're smarter than that. You know exactly what I want." He said, stalking closer, his voice smooth as silk, yet has a bit of a rough tone to it , as he placed his hand on on my cheek, and his thumb softly traced my bottom lip, causing a jolt of excitement to travel throughout my body, which I instantly scolded myself for. I shouldn't be affected by him, not anymore. "Well you can't have me!" I slapped his hand away, then pushed him causing him to stumble backwards. I then quickly grabbed my purse, and pulled out my taser. I pointed it towards him as I said "get out! GET OUT!" He seemed surprised for a second but then his face relaxed, as a smirk took place on his lips, he took a few steps towards the door then turned and said "Don't worry Jade, I will have you. Whether you want to or not, I will do whatever it takes to it happen. Mark my words Jade Christina Reaves, you will be mine, and that is a promise."

Yeah, no But no one listens to Jade when she says she's an Isekai protagonist, so Jade decides that if she has to suffer, everyone else has to suffer with her. Armed with nothing but a black belt in karate, her backpack, movie foreknowledge, the power of God and Anime, and apparently Kung fu trivia knowledge, Jade sets out to fuck shit up, while also making jokes no one understands.

DISCLAIMER: This story is unique in that it is not something I wrote for myself or to write any sort of genius plot. I wasn't trying to write 'a good story.' The whole purpose of this book was to get my friend back into writing so she could have a way to escape the hell which was her abusive marriage and having a baby with A LOT of medical needs. That's why we follow the original plot of the manga in the beginning--because having an 'outline' of sorts of what to write helped eased her back in. He took his obsession to a hotel room to have him throw up all over his clothes and then slip and hurt his back. Needless to say he stayed the night to keep him safe. In the morning when a hilarious misunderstanding occurs he convinces his crush to compensate him by marrying him and to his utter disbelief Wei Wuxian agrees, provided that they keep their marriage secret. After receiving the certificate they go their different ways. When Lan Wangji finds out that the Jiangs have not only fired Wei Wuxian but also kicked him out of home, he uses his resources to track his husband and shows up at his door with a pack of beer even though he doesn't drink. What ensues is chaos.
