Alfred was sixteen when his mother wanted him to finally try again at making friends. There was a reason she was hesitant before- but she thinks the issue has passed.
Friendship was never his area of expertise. In fact, he preferred the silence of his lone company. Instead of loud parties, he'd rather be reading or scribbling away with his large collection of sketch books.
Unfortunately for him, his mother was persistent.
She took him to the town park and left him to associate with the locals at the playground. Naturally, he avoided the crowds of happily screaming kids and evaded to a quiet bench.
He met a young girl named Mia who was quick to become his only friend.
But issues begin to grow in their lives. Alfred isn't used to change, and when problems begin to happen to Mia and her family, he doesn't take it well- especially when she pushes him away and tells him they are no longer friends.
He does his best to make her life easier, but his plans begin to darken as he begins to grow overwhelmed with fear, pain, sadness, and a longing to be with her like before.
Mia wanted a friend. Mia met Alfred. Mia wants to leave her friend. Alfred doesn't.
