In the forests of Cape Cod, Massachusetts lays a nature reservation. Its minor purpose is to help aid the fight against deforestation, but it's main objective is something no one―let alone Harry Edward Styles, graduating senior and soon to be freshman in one of the country's top colleges―could've ever guessed. Its job is to protect the entrance into the invisible fairy kingdom of Forsythiamuthos, Forsythia for short. 

There resides Bloom, a fairy getting ready to graduate their version of school by passing her powers test. But there are problems. When the introverted girl runs across the one human who can see her kind, he brings with him possibilities and situations never before encountered by either species―especially when the two become more and more attached. Whether or not their worlds can coincide without spontaneously combusting is a challenge neither of them ever saw coming. But they face it anyway.
