Who had immersed himself in a sweet illusion, gradually letting down his barriers?
Who had buried his feelings, and hid his identity for fear of being found out?
Who had wanted to build a Sect that did not value blood ties, described as the bright moon and gentle breeze?
Who had saved the young man who was injured, living with him for over three years?
Who had pretended she was blind?
Who had witnessed the tragedies through her gray eyes?
Who in the end, had lost everything?
AN: I am a big fan of the book, Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, reading the novel, the manhua, watching the donghua, and currently watching the live action version of this amazing story. As I went through everything, in the end, I felt the greatest sympathy for Xue Yáng, Xiao Xingchen, and A-Qíng. Xue Yáng remains one of the character whom I just couldn't hate even if I tried to. Because their real story is so tragic, I decided to write my own version of how their story could've gone, or how I wish it could've gone.
The BL pairing I have in this book may not be the same as yours, because I am going to pair Xue Yáng and Xiao Xingchen together. Although the couple is Xue Yáng and Xiao Xingchen, a big part of this book will focus on A-Qíng and her life when she is now older, and it will focus on some other events in the book too. I know that a lot of people pair Xiao Xingchen and Song Zichen together, but because this is my own work, I took it a different route.
FYI You do not have to read Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation before reading this book but I will recommend it if you want to understand this book better.

The Black Orchid (Wangxian)
A little boy named, Wei Wuxian, was left alone on the streets. He had no parents, no siblings, no home. One day while roaming the streets, he started to follow a black tendril that looked so intriguing to him. Since he was only a little five year old boy, he had no idea what he was going to get himself into. The black tendrils were known to be resentful (Yin) energy. They led him to a place called the burial mounds. Once their, the resentful energy found its new host/master. Consuming every last bit of the dark energy, Wuxian unknowingly cleansed the burial mounds, but he was now owner to the most dangerous and powerful magic to ever exist. Feeling this power, he knew he had to be careful and hide it. When he was older, due to the resentment, he did not gain a golden core to cultivate like a normal cultivator. To help him, he created a powerful tool to help protect himself and others and control the resentment called, Yin Hu Fu (Stygian Tiger Amulet). He also crafted a black bamboo Dizi to help him out, he named Chenqing. He one day meets the second young master of the Gusu Lan Sect, Lan Zhan, and he was drawn by his pure spiritual (Yang) energy. How will Lan Zhan handle the demonic cultivator he grew up learning to cleanse, destroy, and/or hate? Especially seeing how handsome Wei Wuxian was at first sight to the second young master Lan?
