"God, you're arrogant." Hunter said under his breath. He ran a hand through his hair annoyed.
"And you're an idiot." I sneered as I look straight into his piercing blue eyes. "Seems like we're the perfect pair."
He clenched down on his teeth. "You're playing with fire, babe." He leaned closer to me with serious in his tone.
"Good."I leaned in closer and whisper into his ear. "Because I'm not the one getting burned."
Eliza Brooks never really had anything handed to her. Not even when she turned 16, she had to work to pay off her car. She's 22 now and is still faced with debts of her mother's medical bills. Now she's forced to work a full-time job that she will soon be introduced to Hunter Bells

Coping with her father's death was one thing and being involved in dirty work is another. Add a bad boy to fall for on her plate and things can't be more messed up. She tries to start a new life but ghosts from her past just aren't ready to leave her. Question is, can she make it through and have a happy ending or not?
