(Cover Image Drawn by Me, Edited with Fonteee) ~12 year old Hanahaki Hirose has Hanahaki Disease...hence her name. ~ Hanahaki Disease is born when someone has one-sided/unrequited love. It is where the patient's throat will fill up with flowers, they will then proceed to throw up, and cough up the petals, (sometimes even the flowers). One of the only ways for the disease to 'disappear' is if, the said person returns the feeling (it can't be resolved with friendship, it has to be genuine feelings of love). The infection can also be removed through surgery, though the feelings disappear along with the petals. If they choose neither options, or the feeling is not returned in time, then the patient's lungs will fill up with flowers, and will eventually suffocate. Hanahaki Hirose truly loves for a girl named Naomi Kishimoto, a 13 year old middle schooler. But Hanahaki doesn't know if Naomi loves her back, since she also likes a guy name Koroshi Makino. Will Hanahaki ever get Naomi's true feelings, get the surgery her mother wants for her or will she suffocate from these pink flowers..? (Discontinued)
