Short-story.
Connected to the world the Sun Warrior stories are in, or at least one of those stories was in. It's also inspired by "The Butcher" from the Green Lantern comics and the idea that it can inhabit a host. Jinchuurikis from Naruto were also a source of inspiration. So yes, the main character has a powerful being sealed inside him. That's all I'll say.

Discord: A Tale of Equilibrium
Two hundred years ago, Earth was invaded by a mysterious race known as the Omniknights, powerful dark beings whose strength dwarfed humanity's own. Balance was shattered, and the world fell into discord. Desperate to save humanity, an old adventurer ventured to a forbidden island-a land ravaged by storms, typhoons, and relentless disasters that no human could survive. There, she discovered an iron coffin sealed beneath the chaos. With her dying wish, she begged for the strength to repel the invaders, offering her life in return. The coffin responded. A brilliant comet tore through the sky, shattering into millions of meteors that rained down upon the newborns of humanity. And so, the first spirits were born. Centuries later, in a world where spirits define power, Saiwar is nothing-spiritless, bullied, and overshadowed by stronger peers at the Spirit Academy. But when an Omniknight invades his school, his life takes a terrifying turn. Unbeknownst to him, Saiwar was chosen for a far darker purpose. His father, Principal Achroous, has spent years grooming him as the perfect vessel to summon the Spirit of Absolute Corruption-an evil force capable of distorting, manipulating, and destroying spirits entirely. A being of pure destruction, its existence threatens not only all spirits but the very balance of the world itself. When his friends Alexa and Rizel are brutally defeated in battle, Saiwar's fragile mind shatters, and his hidden alter ego awakens-unpredictable, chaotic, and drunk on newfound power. As the world trembles before his transformation, one question remains: Will Saiwar rise as a hero, or will he become the harbinger of destruction?
