In a world where you get one chance to find the perfect half of you, Bakugo had never truly taken it seriously. After an incident in middle school, he felt the heart he protected..get shattered by the girl he mistook for the one and only. It was then that he gave up on it completely, becoming a stronger wall of steel.
Kazumi Emiko was the one girl everyone ignored, and the one bullies targeted for being weak in their piercing young gazes. She never took things as a bad situation, always trying to see things from the brighter sides. Even despite being bullied, she never resented anyone...but even the most gentle hearts can still be shattered quietly in the moments you look away. Emiko eventually collapsed in on herself, out of worry her mother moved her to Musutafu. Far away from the painful past and into a new life.
