*2ND PLACE FOR ACTION AND ADVENTURE IN "THE AURORA AWARDS 2019"* *2ND PLACE FOR ACTION IN "THE CREATIVITY COMMUNITY" AWARDS 2019* His eyes were of poisonous green, like if I were to stare longer, it would paralyze me for the worst. "Mind if I?" His voice sent chills down my spine as my back hit the cement wall behind me. I'm trapped. Cursing under my breath, the devil slowly brings his hand up to trace lines along my jaw, causing me to flinch with unease. His touch burned like a million matches on my skin. "You...are truly a fascinating person, Maya." His voice was more of a whisper as he got closer, barely six inches from my face. "If we were under different circumstances, I'm sure neither of us wouldn't mind such a present situation, right?" What he had did to me after he finished his words was beyond requited and expected, possibly the reason why my breath had stopped so abruptly, and all I could hear was the loud hammering of my heart against the restraints of my ribcage. Ω Administration of Destruction Activity and Machinery, aka "A.D.A.M's Eye", the Center of the worlds very own military black ops and the best of underground hit-groups. The corporation is one all human beings on earth fear. The Eye was specifically created around three years ago to experiment on human beings to make a human weapon for future world wars. A database inspired by God's eye, named after the creator himself, Adam Vanhailen. His masterpiece of destruction could map out the entire world, track a wanted assailant or instantly kill someone through a phone call; you name it. Anyone involved in the Eye's sacred global project had always given in to killing themselves by joining the enemy in their quest of world domination than to die going against them. They cared too much for their lives and gave into the Eye. But not Omega; not us. We're different.

Part 1: Today was supposed to be my fairytale day. My perfect wedding day. I made my way to David, he took my hand in his, walking us closer to the long faced man who would be marrying us. The officiant started, greeting the room full of all my family, all of David's family. Going through the first reading easily. Giving their peace on the joy of marriages, it was bland, but acceptable. Moving along, the officiant announced in a loud voice, "If anyone here knows of any reason why these two should not be lawfully wed, let them speak now, or forever hold their peace." The officiant boomed over the crowd. I was caught off guard. This part was supposed to be just a formality, just a box to tick. No one was supposed to say anything. The world started to go in slow motion as Verity moved behind me a flicker in the corner of my vision. "David, I can't hide anymore." He said. As David's eyes went from me, to Verity, filled with concern. David looked over my head at Verity while he was holding my hands in his. I heard the crowd gasp, before everyone started to whisper. David dropped my hands. The whispers increased in intensity. Making the room sound like it was full of hissing snakes. David's attention wasn't anywhere near me. I looked up to see him looking over my head at my brother. With a look I had thought he had saved just for me, my heart breaking as my fairy tale became a nightmare. Part 2 also complete July 2023.
