Something seemed to be stirring within the darkness. The hunters could sense it and so could those within. They knew that something had changed. Someone was gaining strength and they knew exactly where they would go.
Abby spent her whole life taking care of other people. She spent the time trying to make sure everyone around her was okay. She dropped out of school to take care of her mentally challenged mother and started homeschooling a year later. Abby felt everything a lot deeper than most and always felt like a shadow was hanging over her head and she never knew how right she was.
Austin spent his whole life training to protect Abby. He never knew that would include him slowly falling in love with him. But after one mistake, Abby blocks him out completely and it takes years till he can properly see her again. Austin knows everything that is truly going on and he wants to tell Abby but his sister and parents tell him that it's too soon.
